This is such a hidden gem and I'm happy I stumbled on it. The setup is adorable. It's a great place to meet or work. The soothing music sets the vibe, and I enjoyed the food and peach tea. My Turkey and Brie was so fresh and tasty.

Tea selection is phenomenal. Greens, blacks, whites, herbals. As a tea enthusiast this place never disappoints, especially the oolong varieties. You can buy bags, get tea there or to go, as well as food: paninis, hummus, etc. (have gluten free bread sometimes) all delicious and the owner cares so much about her shop. It is a true hidden gem inside The Painted Tree Boutique. This place knows their tea, one of the few, if not only places in SA that specializes in hot tea. Check out their instagram for events, they have tea tastings and various events quite often, great place to go and relax as well. They have a few 6-seater tables to relax in the middle of the shopping center. This place deserves your business.

This place was awesome, and it has a cafe/tea shop in the middle of it! So many vendors have awesome spaces inside! Please check this place out. You won't regret it! It's huge! The cafe has great sandwiches and wonderful teas! You can order hot o cold brews and buy loose leaf tea by the bag!

I enjoy tea and culture behind it. I have been drinking teas from origins of Japan, China, India, Europe and Latin America. Recently been practicing gongfu cha. Tea has a rich and deep historical culture significance in many eastern countries. Its been my therapy in quiting alcohol and find peace of mind. Tea in the work place helps me stay focused and alert with no stress or headaches, working fine under stressful situations. Its nice to find some tea here in San Antonio or even order directly from China which is nice as well but can take a while to arrive. Thanks

I stopped by The Steeped Leaf inside Painted Tree today and had one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. Josh was running the tea bar and absolutely delivered. He took the time to break down the different types of matcha they offer, what makes each one unique, and which would best fit what I was looking for. The matcha he made for me was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Smooth, balanced, and incredibly fresh. You can tell they use quality ingredients and know exactly what they’re doing. Josh was patient, friendly, and clearly knows his craft. Even though it’s located inside a consignment-style marketplace, this is a real tea bar with a full setup, professional equipment, and a relaxing seating area. I’ve attached photos of the matcha I was served and a shot of the seating space so you can get a feel for the vibe. If you’re anywhere near Painted Tree, make time to stop by. The service, the matcha, and the atmosphere are all next-level.

Love this tea lounge, great place to have a girls day. It is inside the painted tree boutique, I usually order my food and drinks when I get there and walk around until my food is ready. The sandwiches and soups are really good.
